Pierre-Auguste Renoir is the sixth child in a poor French family. And although his father is a tailor and his childhood is difficult, he is considered one of the founders of Impressionism. He was only 13 years old working in a porcelain factory when his family moved to Paris, and at age 21 he studied fine arts at Charles Claire, where his classmates are Sister, Fr. Basil and Claude Monet.
