"Wheatfield with Crows" №21307

Art. number: 21307

Description

"Wheatfield with ravens" was created in July 1890 by Van Gogh, just three months after leaving the hospital. He goes out into the field and shoots himself in the chest. Of all the paintings of van Gogh, "Wheat field with ravens" is perhaps the specter that speculates the most. Many believe that it is his last work, a dramatic representation of a sky in which ravens circle and break the road as a sign of his approaching death. Art historians, however, are uncertain which picture is the last one. It was found that because of the light and dark patterns his works closely follow the basic mathematical structure of the turbulent flow. This picture is a living example of this.

Reproduction is a high quality print on a linen cloth with eco inks. The canvas is folded over the back to the size of 30x40, and above this size is stretched on a subframe. The picture is arranged with a luxury frame.
