Description

Pieter Bruegel the Elder is a Flemish Renaissance painter, famous for his landscapes and household scenes. Considered to be one of the great makers of his time, he was later rewarded as one of the greatest artists of the Northern Renaissance.
In the 16th century Pieter Bruegel left the picture of the unfinished tower in Babel as an inheritance. "The Tower of Babel" is the tallest building in Babel. They called it "Home Between Earth and Heaven." The picture has two options. This is the canvas in darker shades and smaller in size.

The basis of the picture is the Biblical storyline of the origin of languages and peoples. According to the legend, after the Great Death, the descendants of Noah settled on the land of Senar. They decide to build a tower there that is so high as to reach God. God, however, did not like people to be considered equal to Him, and so he did so to speak in different languages. In this way, none of the tower's doers understood what the other was saying to him, and the construction was frustrated.

Bruegel depicts the architecture of the tower with its numerous arches and the engineering thought, reminiscent of the Roman Colosseum.

Reproduction is a high-quality print, on an Italian eco ink canvas. The canvas is cased on the back, arranged and framed with a luxurious frame
